You Know You're in Trouble When . . .

. . . you stand at the bottom of the stairs calling your toddler's name, and after a couple seconds of silence he yells down,

"I'm not doing ANYTHING!"

Ha! A couple of springs ago, my friend couldn't find her daughter Mary in the house. She called for her, saying, "Mary? Where are you?" And Mary responded, "I'm upstairs! And I am not eating my Easter candy!"
(with a very full mouth)

Oh I love it! What's he hiding under that blanket? If it were my kids it would be candy, older daughter's makeup, or my money from my purse.

Maria- that's his blankie, and he does have a death grip on it when he knows he's in trouble. He lives to get into his brother's things: newly constructed lego designs, ipods, forts, etc. In fact, every morning when the two older ones leave for school, they ALWAYS tell me to keep their little brother out of their stuff.

Oh, this cracks me up! What a handsome little man! (Did you find out what he was up to?)

Lol. He's so sweet.

So, what did he do?

What did he do . . . let's just say that the complicated lego creation by my middle son, the one with a couple of tall towers, is now missing a couple of those same towers.

This is what I get in my home:

Total silence. Then, out of nowhere, one of the boys calls out, "NOTHING HAPPENED!"
