Better Not to Know

I am all for education. I love to learn new things.
But, there are some things that I would probably be better off not knowing.

Case in point: running carpool yesterday, the van full of boys started discussing the following three categories:

machine gun
atomic
sbd (silent but deadly)

Sheesh.
If you don't know what they're talking about . . . keep it that way. Sometimes ignorance definitely is bliss!

No need to wonder why my daughter Anna finds boys of that age to be disgusting...

We're parents to 3 boys. I know exactly what's going down in that backseat.

I didn't figure it out until the last one, and I really wish I hadn't. *sigh*

Ahahaha! I shouldn't laugh, but I can't help it! I must 've been meant to have all these boys, because they crack me up! This is SO something my boys would do! God love 'em. Boys WIL be boys! (snicker, snicker)

I have to tell you, though, because it illustrates the flip side we know is there ~ My son, Jon (17) called me the other night to chat, and as he said good bye, he said he loved me (he usu does), but then he said, " and here's hugs and kisses from all us boys, because we all would give you them now, but not all my brothers would tell you so." (Just makes me tear all up. Boys Will be Boys...)

I get your drift! Boys! They are definitely different than the girls!

The great thing is that they talk as if you are not even there. Car pool is the best time to learn. Oh the things my car seat heard. Keep mum and the information will juust keep flowing...ummm...no pun intended...

we were driving with my 7 year old and his buddy this was their conversation:
My son G- Do you know what your mom is having (she is 6 months pregnant)
Friend - A girl but I really wanted a boy so he could play with us
My son- Dude what if she is hot?? Then I'll have to marry her because you can't!
