A Conversation on a Sunday Afternoon

I was reading when Timothy came and snuggled next to me.

"Mom, who is your boyfriend?" he asked.

"Well, Daddy is," I replied.

"Who is your little boyfriend?" he continued.

"Let's see ... I guess that would be you," I said.

He nods in agreement.

"And I think you're my girlfriend," he remarked.

Che nostalgia di queste letterine!!! Timothy sei stato bravissimo e penso che la tua mamma sia molto orgogliosa d te.
Che belli quei cuoricini e quelle faccine sorridenti.
Una mamma speciale per un bambino speciale.
Anch'io ti voglio molto bene.

Ya just want to take this age and keep it forever, don't you? I guess we do, though, as Moms, don't we? It's always there in our hearts. (Drives them nuts when they're about 17 when we want so badly to remember when they were six...)
