- I love to cook, but hate to bake.
- I speak three languages: English, Italian, and Spanish.
- My husband and I met at a church spaghetti supper.
- When we say the rosary as a family, we always say one decade in Italian in honor of my Nonna.
- In my first year as a student teacher one of the students asked me to the prom. (Ick!)
- My husband sent me and a friend to Rome, Italy for my 40th birthday while he stayed home to babysit.
- The perfect meal for me? Crusty bread, fresh tomatoes, a chunk of cheese, some red wine.
- I cried when I saw the Sistine Chapel. Tissue anyone?

I love that you say a decade in Italian in honor of your Nonna. So neat. I'll take that crusty bread, tomatoes, cheese and wine any day, too!
I am blessed with 5 children and so when I say the rosary I can say offer a decade for each child and his or her family.
I would have wept if I had seen the Sistine Chapel as well. There are many churches that have made me weep in their beauty, especially The National Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in DC. In particular the Crypt Church.

I would love to see the Sistine Chapel it's one of my dreams, that and the pieta in Florence and Giotto's frescos in Padua. It's always been my dream to tour Italy it's such a beautiful country.
