You know how sometimes you leave your car parked in the garage when your carpool picks you up at the house?
Well, this morning I forgot.
I got into the van, swung wide as I backed out of the garage, and rubbed my front bumper all along the driver side of your car.
You know how you liked that chicken cacciatore recipe I used a few months ago?
Well, that's what we're having for dinner tonight.

You sound much too pleasant for what has happened (especially when male family members are involved - of course, they may not be anything like my male family members). I backed right into my brother's church van once. I will never be able to compete with his wife's cooking, so I didn't even try. I felt horrible!
Oh Bia you are too funny! If you hit my car and brought me chicken cacciatore, I'd definitely forgive you! :)
And if you accidentally ever hit my mailbox, you can bring me some eggplant parmesan! :)

Must be the week for this. I hit the side of the garage with my mirror and scratched the van and the garage wall. Thankfully a few years ago dh did the same thing and took the mirror off and damaged the wood. Since his was worse, I got off pretty easy. This is good because I'm pretty sure my chicken cacciatore would have only made the situation worse :)
Oh, gee. I did the same thing a while back, hitting my husband's truck. But his truck didn't even have a nick, while my back end was crunched in like it was made of tin foil. Sheesh. Do you suppose I should have made myself my own favorite meal for that one? &;o)
