Oggi è un giorno bellissimo per voi!! AUGURI!! AUGURI!! Mi sembra impossibile che siano passati così tanti anni. Quarantacinque anni fa ero così stupidina e sciocca che non ho nemmeno capito l'importanza di quel giorno e dei sentimenti che provavano gli adulti. Tu, cara Millie che così giovane cominciavi un'avventura che ti avrebbe portato così lontano, un vero salto nel buio e che per fortuna ti ha dato tantissimo gioie e una vita ricca di ogni bene. Ma penso anche all'angoscia di mamma e papà nel pensare che la loro tanto amata primogenita sarebbe andata così lontana. Adesso posso capire i loro sentimenti. Anche se sono passati così tanti anni mi ricordo abbastanza bene quel giorno e di come ero orgogliosa di avere come cognato un super-fusto americano come Dwight (anche adesso è un super-fusto). La famiglia che avete creato è davvero meravigliosa e penso, cari Millie e Dwight, che devete davvero ringraziare il Signore per tutto ciò che vi ha donato. Vi vogliamo tanto bene.
