My gag reflex works just fine thank-you-very-much

As a mom, I can deal with most medical issues. Bloody knees, sutures, vomit, splinters, high fevers, diarrhea ... none of it phases me.


But here is what I cannot handle: anything dealing with dentists, dental instruments, oral surgery.


Or wisdom teeth.


Timothy had two wisdom teeth extracted this morning. Later, when I was helping him replace bloody gauze squares I was like ... well, let's just say my gag reflex got a workout.


And then I was writing this post, tried to Google puffy cheeks/wisdom tooth extraction photo, and y'all ... I just couldn't.
